The Sri Mittapalli college of Engineering, Guntur has been fast developing with all infrastructure, permanent buildings, labs, library, landscaping etc...,. under the progressive management of Sri M.V KOTESWARA RAO, who is Chairman of the college managing committee. He is renowned as a Philanthrophist and Dynamic Administrator in the area.

The college started functioning from the academic year 2006-07 after approval by AICTE and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) Hyderabad with intake of 240 B.Tech. students in four branches of Engineering viz CSE, IT, ECE, EEE.
